Vineyards Wine Merchant Wednesday and Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m 6060 Broadview Rd. in Parma Ohio
This isn’t your typical “Happy Hour” and Vineyards is not a wine bar. What it is though is a great opportunity to taste wines for an affordable price. Vineyards holds their “Wine Swirls” every Wednesday and Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m... This is a sampling of 5 different wines that have something in common. And, if that wasn’t tempting enough, once a month Vineyards hosts a special wine tasting. This includes delicious “Bites” that are put out and paired up with the wines to be tasted that evening. Vineyards is a full service wine shop and so much more. Whether you are looking for a reason to taste or shop for wine you really should stop in and see what they have to offer. This is a great place to meet new friends, catch up with existing ones or just relax and enjoy. The events at Vineyards are popular and well worth it. This locally owned shop in Parma has a lot to offer and is worth investigating if you’ve never been there and worth coming back to if you have. Vineyards is located @ 6060 Broadview Rd. in Parma Ohio. You can get more information about Vineyards Wine Merchant by visiting their website @ www.vineyardswinemerchant.com or simply call (216) – 712 – 6806 and ask for Glen or Mary Ellen.

Roosters tells it like it is, they are a “Fun, Casual Joint”! Located just North of 480 on the corner of Ridge and Biduluph Rd they are easy to get to. They are known for the some big and tasty wings, but also have a variety to select from on the menu including salads, pizzas, subs, burgers and more. Enjoy lunch or dinner with discounted prices at Happy Hour. Half-Off all drinks from drafts to top shelf 3pm-7pm Monday through Friday and additional late night weekend happy hour from 10pm-1am Saturdays and 9pm-12am Sundays. Roosters has 22 plasma TV's I didn't take a measurement but most of them are at least 42 inches or bigger. There are enough so that you can watch multiple games at once. They also have NFL Sunday Ticket plus all the Cavs and Indians Games. Come join the fun and visit the website at www.roosterwings.com for more information and check out Roosters daily specials! |

From the outside The Map Room looks like a nice neighborhood bar, which it is. But it is also much more. The first time people visit they usually notice the bi- plane. It was an award winning racing plane, which earned first place at the Reno Air show. The decorations are almost all authentic antiques such as maps, globes and old books. This is the place in Cleveland where the slightly upscale crowd goes to relax. You may see the same people at a Black Tie Affair on Friday night and then at the Map Room on Saturday for a college football game in jeans and a T-shirt. They have some of the best Pizza in Cleveland. It is a thin crust with a great sauce. Happy Hour Special $2.00 domestic drafts. $2.50 for a vodka and tonic and various other mixed drinks. 3:00-7:00 p.m. daily |

McCarthy's is your favorite corner bar only bigger. They welcome everyone from college students to construction workers and stock brokers.Though the prices are cheap they don't short change you on quality or quantity. While some places would give you smaller glasses for a $1.00 beer, not at McCarthys. They serve them in 16 oz Glasses. The plastic cups that we got when they ran out of Glasses looked small so we measured; They are true 16oz plastic cups. The wings are generous in size, not the biggest but some of the biggest 30 cent wings we have had in awhile. The sauces are very good. Our taste tester prefered the hot garlic. HAPPY HOUR: MONDAY-FRIDAY 2pm-9pm SATURDAY & SUNDAY 12pm-9pm $1.00 Domestic Drafts $1.50 Domestic Bottles All Day Specials 30 Cent JUMBO WINGS 10 Cent Muscles $1.00 Molson Drafts TUESDAY: TITANIC TUESDAYS WITH CAPTAIN DEB “SINK THE KEG” 6pm-8pm $0.50 Bud Select Drafts Three Olives Karaoke 9pm-2am $3.00 Three Olive Bomb Special (see bartender for details) $1.00 Domestic Drafts $1.50 Domestic Bottles WEDNESDAY: 2 FOR 1 BURGERS (with purchase of a pitcher of beer) 3 FOR $10.00 Three Olive Bombs (any flavor) |
